About
What it is, and why it matters
The Air Arms S500 is a British single-shot pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle chambered for .177 pellets. A single-shot derivative of the multi-shot S510 platform, it uses a smooth side-lever cocking action, a fully shrouded match-grade Lothar Walther barrel, a regulated air system and a two-stage adjustable trigger. Tuned to deliver around 12 ft/lbf for the UK sub-12 air rifle market, it is built for precision target shooting and hunting, with a Minelli-crafted sporter stock available in walnut or beech.
Air Arms, based in Hailsham, East Sussex, built its reputation in Field Target and Hunter Field Target competition; the S500/S510 line is among the most decorated PCP platforms in British airgun sport.
Cocked via a smooth side-lever bolt probe rather than a turn-bolt. Sold in full-length (rifle) and carbine barrel configurations; an FAC (higher-power) version is offered in markets where firearm certificates permit it. The .22 (5.5mm) caliber is also available.

Trajectory
What the round does downrange
Solved from the muzzle figures and the bullet. The dashed rule is the effective range on the record, and the crosses are the steps the solver returned.
No load solved for this record yetThe flight path is computed from a cartridge and a bullet. This record has no ammunition filed against its chambering, so there is nothing to solve.
