Beretta markets the A400 series' B-Link gas system as one of the fastest-cycling semi-automatic shotgun actions ever made, and the 'L' (Lusso, Italian for luxury) line takes that soft-shooting field gun and dresses it up with a hand-engraved, nickel-plated receiver aimed at hunters who want performance and heirloom looks in one package.
The A400 L (Lusso/Luxury) line launched alongside an A400 L Sporting variant. Distinguished from the standard A400 Xplor/Upland by its nickel-plated engraved receiver, upgraded walnut, and Steelium Plus barrel with a longer triple forcing cone.
