The Caesar Guerini Tempio SE is a special-edition version of the Italian Tempio over/under break-action field shotgun, built in Brescia. It retains the low-profile boxlock receiver, single selective trigger and automatic ejectors of the standard Tempio, but distinguishes itself with a hand-engraved game scene of doves on the left action and Bobwhite quail on the right, accented with gold inlay, over a hand-polished coin or case-colored finish protected by the maker's Invisalloy coating. Offered in 20 and 28 gauge and .410 bore with 28-inch barrels, it is stocked in deluxe Turkish walnut with a hand-rubbed oil finish, 26-line-per-inch checkering, a Prince-of-Wales grip and a Schnabel fore-end.
The SE's receiver carries a hand-cut game scene pairing doves with Bobwhite quail in gold accents, a nod to the North American upland traditions that made the Tempio line popular with American bird hunters.
Special limited production run of the Tempio aimed at upland bird hunters. Ships with five flush-fitting nickel-plated choke tubes (CYL, IC, M, IM, F). Weight varies by gauge: approximately 3005 g (20ga), 2863 g (28ga) and 2892 g (.410).
