The Caesar Guerini Woodlander is an Italian over/under break-action field shotgun built in Brescia and aimed at upland bird and game hunters. It uses a low-profile boxlock receiver finished in traditional case color under the maker's Invisalloy protective coating, decorated with a single Bulino-style game bird engraved on the frame. Chambered for 3-inch shells, it feeds two rounds from stacked break-open barrels, fires through a single selective trigger with automatic ejectors, and wears an oil-finished Turkish walnut stock with a Schnabel fore-end, wood butt plate and 26-lines-per-inch checkering. The Woodlander is offered in 12, 20, and 28 gauge and ships with a set of five interchangeable flush choke tubes.
Caesar Guerini was founded in 2002 by brothers Antonio and Giorgio Guerini, members of a Val Trompia gunmaking family near Brescia, the historic heart of Italian shotgun production; the Woodlander's receiver carries a single ruffed grouse engraved by hand in the fine-detail Bulino style.
Dedicated upland field gun. Ships with five nickel-plated flush chokes (CYL, IC, M, IM, F). Weight and barrel data are for the 12-gauge 28-inch model; 20 gauge is offered with 26/28/30-inch barrels and 28 gauge with a 28-inch barrel. Manual safety standard, automatic safety available as an option. Imported into the United States by Caesar Guerini USA of Cambridge, Maryland.
