About

What it is, and why it matters

Copy a link to this section

The Christensen Arms Evoke is an American bolt-action hunting and precision rifle introduced in 2024 as the company's value-priced entry point. Built on a Remington 700 footprint, it pairs a Cerakoted 416R stainless steel free-floating barrel with a polymer stock, an adjustable TriggerTech trigger, a fluted bolt with M16/Sako-style extractor and plunger ejector, and a detachable MDT polymer magazine. The Evoke ships with a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee and a threaded muzzle for brakes or suppressors, and is offered across a broad range of hunting cartridges including .308 Winchester.

The Evoke marked Christensen Arms' push into the sub-$1,000 rifle market, bringing features associated with its higher-end carbon-fiber rifles (sub-MOA guarantee, TriggerTech trigger, threaded barrel) to a more affordable steel-and-polymer platform.

Base Evoke and Evoke Mossy Oak weigh about 7 lb 11 oz; the Evoke Hunter (~8 lb 2 oz) and Evoke Precision (~8 lb 6 oz) are heavier variants. Barrel lengths run 16.25 to 22 inches depending on cartridge; the .308 Winchester configuration uses a 22-inch barrel. Magazine capacity is three rounds.
