About

What it is, and why it matters

Copy a link to this section

The CVA Accura MR-X is an American break-action inline muzzleloader designed as a lightweight mountain rifle for big-game hunting. It uses a 209 shotgun-primer ignition system, a removable breech plug, and a Bergara stainless steel barrel, and is offered in .45 and .50 caliber with a threaded muzzle that accepts a muzzle brake.

The MR (Mountain Rifle) designation reflects its lighter, shorter-handling profile compared with the long-range LR-X. The .45 caliber version uses a 1:22 inch twist optimized for saboted bullets.

Trajectory

What the round does downrange

Solved from the muzzle figures and the bullet. The dashed rule is the effective range on the record, and the crosses are the steps the solver returned.

No load solved for this record yetThe flight path is computed from a cartridge and a bullet. This record has no ammunition filed against its chambering, so there is nothing to solve.
