The Kel-Tec CP33 is a semi-automatic blowback-operated rimfire competition pistol chambered in .22 LR. Introduced in 2019, it is distinguished by its quad-stack 33-round detachable magazine, a 5.5-inch threaded barrel, an extended Picatinny optics rail, fiber-optic sights, and a non-reciprocating charging handle. Built on a polymer frame, it is designed for plinking, competition, and suppressed shooting.
The CP33's '33' refers to its standard magazine capacity, made possible by a quad-stack magazine design that nests rounds in four columns. Kel-Tec was founded by Swedish-born engineer George Kellgren, who has a long history of innovative polymer-framed and high-capacity firearm designs.
The CP33 uses a patented quad-stack magazine to achieve its 33-round standard capacity; an optional 50-round extended magazine is also available. The 1/2x28 threaded muzzle accepts suppressors and compensators.
