What it is, and why it matters
The Krieghoff K-20 Parcours is a German over/under break-action sporting shotgun, the small-gauge sibling of the flagship K-80 built on a lighter, scaled-down receiver for 20 and 28 gauge. Configured for sporting clays and Parcours de Chasse, it carries 30- or 32-inch barrels with a 7mm tapered rib, a single selective mechanical trigger adjustable for finger length, and a select Turkish walnut Parcours stock with adjustable comb and palm swell. The hardened, nickel-plated steel receiver wears a satin grey finish and the top-tang safety can be locked in the off position for competition.
Krieghoff introduced the K-20 as a scaled-down K-80 so that 20-, 28-gauge and .410 shooters could compete with the same trigger feel and modular barrel system as the full-size 12-gauge guns favored on Olympic ranges.
The Parcours variant is distinguished by its lighter, sleeker handling and dedicated sporting stock geometry. Fixed-choke or Krieghoff Thin Wall screw-in chokes are available; a field-style Prince of Wales stock is offered as an alternative.
