About
What it is, and why it matters
The Trejo Modelo 1 Tipo Ráfaga is a compact Mexican select-fire machine pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle, built by Armas Trejo of Zacatlán, Puebla. Styled after the Colt 1911 but with a more aggressive grip angle, it operates on a simple blowback action and offers semi-automatic and full-automatic fire from an 8-round detachable box magazine at a cyclic rate reported as high as 1,400 rounds per minute. The 'TIPO RÁFAGA' marking engraved on its slide denotes the full-auto model, and the diminutive frame has earned it a reputation as one of the smallest machine pistols ever produced.
Because Mexican law of the era permitted civilians to own fully automatic rimfire firearms, Armas Trejo could legally sell a 1911-shaped pocket machine pistol that emptied its magazine in a fraction of a second; the Tipo Ráfaga is often cited as the smallest machine pistol in the world.
'Ráfaga' is Spanish for 'burst', denoting the fully automatic capability. The larger Modelo 2 used an 11-round magazine. Production ended following changes to Mexican firearms law that outlawed civilian ownership of automatic weapons.

Trajectory
What the round does downrange
Solved from the muzzle figures and the bullet. The dashed rule is the effective range on the record, and the crosses are the steps the solver returned.
No load solved for this record yetThe flight path is computed from a cartridge and a bullet. This record has no ammunition filed against its chambering, so there is nothing to solve.
