What it is, and why it matters
The Victrix Gladio is an Italian-made precision bolt-action sniper rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, built by Victrix Srl in the Brescia firearms district. Positioned as a multi-role marksman and long-range precision platform, the Gladio uses a short-action three-lug bolt machined from AISI 630 stainless steel billet and an AISI 416R match-grade lapped barrel free-floated within an M-LOK aluminium chassis. A reversible folding stock, adjustable cheek piece and length of pull, dual-stage trigger, and 20 MOA integrated rail make it a versatile choice for competition, law enforcement, and military designated-marksman roles.
Victrix builds on the Brescia gunmaking tradition that reaches back more than five centuries. The Gladio, named for the short sword of the Roman legions, was designed as a compact, foldable multi-role precision rifle bridging tactical and competition use, and rounds out a Victrix lineup that already included the larger Scorpio and Corvus long-range rifles.
Offered in 22-inch and 26-inch barrel lengths and in additional chamberings including .308 Winchester and .260 Remington. The Gladio family includes the Gladio V, Gladio X, and Gladio Mille designations. Weight is roughly 6.32 kg with a 22-inch barrel and 6.62 kg with a 26-inch barrel, measured with an empty magazine and muzzle brake fitted but no optic.
