The Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine (model AOM130) is a modern, newly manufactured semi-automatic reproduction of the classic World War II .30 Carbine, built by Auto-Ordnance, a Kahr Firearms Group brand. Produced from newly made parts on modern CNC machinery rather than reworked surplus, it reproduces the GI carbine's gas-operated short-stroke action, 18-inch barrel, 15-round detachable magazine, and parkerized finish, with an American walnut stock and handguard. It is aimed at collectors, sport shooters, and reenactors who want a faithful, shootable carbine without consuming an increasingly scarce original.
Auto-Ordnance - the historic company that put the Thompson submachine gun into mass production - now keeps the WWII M1 Carbine alive with all-new reproductions, letting collectors shoot a faithful GI carbine without firing a 80-year-old original.
Marketed as an authentic replica of the rifle that saw combat across many WWII theaters. Built by Kahr Firearms Group's Auto-Ordnance line; the AOM150 variant offers a folding-stock paratrooper configuration. Uses standard 15-round GI-pattern magazines.
