About
What it is, and why it matters
The Benjamin Akela is an American pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) bullpup air rifle produced by Crosman under the Benjamin brand. Chambered for .22 caliber pellets, it uses a smooth side-lever cocking action to feed from a 12-shot rotary magazine and delivers velocities up to about 305 m/s (1000 fps) for roughly 43 joules of muzzle energy. Its compact bullpup layout pairs a Turkish walnut stock with a shrouded, integrally suppressed rifled steel barrel, a 280cc air reservoir good for up to 60 shots per fill, and a power-adjuster knob, making it a quiet, accurate small-game and pest-control rifle.
The Akela brought a walnut-stocked, traditionally styled bullpup to Benjamin's PCP lineup, combining old-world stock craftsmanship with a modern side-lever repeater and integrated suppression for a quiet backyard and hunting airgun.
Also offered with a synthetic stock. The 280cc air tube fills to 3000 psi and yields up to 60 usable shots per fill; two rotary magazines ship with the rifle.

Trajectory
What the round does downrange
Solved from the muzzle figures and the bullet. The dashed rule is the effective range on the record, and the crosses are the steps the solver returned.
No load solved for this record yetThe flight path is computed from a cartridge and a bullet. This record has no ammunition filed against its chambering, so there is nothing to solve.
