About

What it is, and why it matters

Copy a link to this section

The Benjamin Cayden is an American pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) sidelever air rifle produced by Crosman under the Benjamin Craftsman Series brand. Introduced in 2020, it fires .22 caliber pellets from a 12-shot auto-indexing rotary magazine and is fed from a 280cc air cylinder filled to 3000 psi that yields up to roughly 60 shots. A choked, rifled barrel with a removable threaded muzzle brake, an adjustable two-stage trigger, and a Turkish walnut stock with adjustable cheekpiece make it a value-oriented hunting and target rifle capable of around 1000 fps and up to about 35 foot-pounds of energy.

The Cayden anchors Benjamin's Craftsman Series, which paired traditional walnut-stocked looks with modern high-capacity PCP internals to bring an affordable wood-stocked repeating air rifle to the North American market.

Also offered in .177 caliber. Uses a smooth sidelever cocking action rather than a bolt. Sold as part of the Benjamin Craftsman Series alongside the Kratos and Akela.
