About

What it is, and why it matters

Copy a link to this section

The Bersa BP9 FS is the full-size variant of Bersa's BP9 striker-fired polymer pistol platform, introduced in 2026. Chambered in 9x19mm, it carries a 17-round flush-fit magazine and a 4.3-inch barrel, extending the BP series into the duty and full-size carry segment. It features an optics-ready slide cut for the Shield RMSc footprint, an ambidextrous manual safety, an accessory rail, a reversible magazine release, and a roughly 3.7-pound trigger. Manufactured in Argentina, it is positioned as a value-priced full-size duty pistol.

Bersa built its reputation on affordable Argentine-made pistols; the BP9 FS scales up the popular BP9CC concealed-carry gun into a full-size, optics-ready duty package while keeping the brand's hallmark budget pricing.

Slide profile is reported to fit many Glock 17 holsters. RMSc optic cut covers Holosun 507K/407K Shield variants, Sig Romeo Zero, and Swampfox Sentinel.
