The Browning Citori 825 Gran Field is a field-grade over/under shotgun introduced as a 2026 SHOT Show Special on Browning's new Citori 825 low-profile receiver. Chambered in 12-gauge with a 3-inch chamber, it is offered with 26- or 28-inch polished blued barrels and weighs about 7 lbs 4 oz. The Gran Field upgrades the standard 825 Field with Grade III Turkish walnut, a Silver Nitride receiver engraved with gold-plated game birds, the Fire Lite 2 mechanical trigger, Invector-DS Extended choke tubes and an Inflex II recoil pad.
The 825 action carries on a lineage tracing to John M. Browning's Superposed, the first commercially successful over/under, whose low-profile receiver shape still defines the way a fine field gun points and swings nearly a century later.
Break-action over/under has no magazine; capacity is the two chambers. Built on the redesigned Citori 825 action that succeeds the long-running Citori 725. Manufactured by Miroku in Japan for Browning. Length of pull 14.25 in; drop at comb 1.625 in; drop at heel 2.5 in.
