About
What it is, and why it matters
The Weatherby Vanguard MeatEater Edition is an American bolt-action hunting rifle, a special-edition build of the Vanguard series developed in collaboration with Steven Rinella's MeatEater brand. Chambered here in 6.5 Creedmoor, it pairs a cold hammer forged, spiral-fluted, threaded barrel with a full Tungsten Cerakote finish and a raised-comb A-grade Turkish walnut stock, and carries Weatherby's sub-MOA accuracy guarantee.
The MeatEater Edition grew out of Weatherby's partnership with Steven Rinella's MeatEater, a hunting and conservation media brand, and was styled as a hard-use backcountry hunting rifle with corrosion-resistant Cerakote and a threaded, suppressor-ready muzzle.
Also offered in .308 Winchester, .300 Winchester Magnum, 6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum and other chamberings. Model code for the 6.5 Creedmoor 24-inch version is VMA65CMR4T.
