About
What it is, and why it matters
The Diamondback DB15 is the company's AR-15-pattern direct-impingement carbine, most commonly chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16 in 4150 CrMoV nitride barrel and mid-length gas system. Forged 7075-T6 upper and lower receivers, a free-float M-LOK handguard and Magpul furniture (CTR stock, MOE K2 grip) round out the platform. It is offered across many series (Obsidian, Carbon, Diamond) and calibers including .300 AAC Blackout and 7.62x39mm in pistol and rifle barrel lengths.
Founded in 2009 in Cocoa, Florida, Diamondback Firearms grew from a subcompact-pistol maker into a full-line manufacturer of AR-pattern rifles, pistols and rimfire revolvers, all produced domestically in the USA.
MSRP approx. $1,092 (Obsidian 16 in). SKU DB1784K001. Sold in numerous finishes, barrel lengths (8-20 in) and dealer-exclusive series; also offered as a pistol with .300 BLK.
