About
What it is, and why it matters
The MasterPiece Arms 6.5 BA is a precision bolt-action rifle built around a Kelbly's Atlas Tactical action and a hand-lapped, threaded heavy-profile barrel chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. It rides in MPA's machined 6061 aluminum tactical chassis with an adjustable cheek riser and length of pull, a Timney trigger, a 20 MOA optic rail, and AICS-pattern detachable magazines, targeting long-range precision and PRS-style competition shooting.
MasterPiece Arms began in 2000 producing MAC-pattern pistols before pivoting into the precision rifle market, where its BA chassis rifles became a fixture on the Precision Rifle Series competition circuit.
Sold under the MPA model designation '6.5BA'. The standard configuration ships with a 24-inch Sendero-profile barrel, a 10-round AICS magazine, an included monopod and barricade stop. Twist rate, barrel length and Cerakote color are configurable at order.
